The Urban Alumni Reunion was created and established in 1999, with three primary principles in mind.

• Attract past Alumni from North York and surrounding areas.
• To celebrate our rich friendships, while creating a networking enviorment for the past and present Alumni.
• To create a base from which the organization would be able to provide an enviroment bettering our comminities at large.

About The Organizers

In 1999 Da Girlz (Maria Myers), Wave Entainment Group's (Al Foster) and UpTown Boyz Production (Conroy Jarvis) created what's now known as the Urban Alumni Reunion.

We had gone to a friends funeral and oddly enough we saw all the people we grew up with at this funeral. It seemed at the time that the only time we saw this number of friends together was at funerals. We decided to create a situation where we meet and greet old friends in a more positive light and have some fun while doing it.

With over twenty years of friendship combined, we began creating what has become one of Toronto's premier events. Over the last twelve years more than four thousand has attended this event, rekindling friendships and creating new bonds.

We will continue to host this event and create as many networking possibilities as possible to help better our community.

While the Urban Alumni Reunion continues to be a success, we hope to see past and future Alumni steming from across the GTA.
